Indonesian migrant workers in Malaysia face potential barriers to accessing preventive healthcare, increasing the importance of community-based screening and health education for early detection of chronic disease risks. This community service program aimed to identify cardiometabolic risk factors and improve knowledge of diabetes mellitus (DM) and hypertension (HT) among Indonesian migrant workers. The program involved 38 participants in Gombak, Malaysia, on August 1, 2026, in collaboration with PCIM and PCIA Malaysia. Activities included structured health education, interactive discussions, blood pressure measurement, and screening for random blood glucose, uric acid, and total cholesterol. Knowledge was assessed using pre-test and post-test questionnaires comprising 10 items each on DM and HT. Screening revealed that 65.8% of participants had blood pressure in the stage 1 or stage 2 hypertension categories, while 31.6% had random blood glucose levels of ?200 mg/dL. Elevated uric acid and total cholesterol levels were identified in 28.9% and 23.7% of participants, respectively. These findings indicate a substantial burden of potential cardiometabolic risk requiring further clinical assessment, particularly among individuals with elevated blood pressure and glucose levels. Community-based education and screening provide an important entry point for early risk identification; however, their long-term impact depends on structured referral pathways, periodic monitoring, and sustained collaboration between migrant communities and healthcare providers. Integrating culturally responsive health education with continuous screening and follow-up may strengthen chronic disease prevention and improve healthcare access among Indonesian migrant workers in Malaysia.
