Manual feeding practices often lead to feed waste, irregular feeding schedules, and water pollution in fish ponds. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to enhance the efficiency and productivity of fish farming through the development and implementation of an automatic fish feeding machine as an initial step toward an Internet of Things (IoT)-based system. The PKM activities were carried out in Marindal II Village in collaboration with the Karang Taruna Youth Group and the PKK community group as partners. The implemented automatic fish feeder is capable of regulating feeding time and dosage in a scheduled manner without manual intervention, thereby reducing feed waste and improving labor efficiency. Although the system has not yet been directly integrated with IoT technology, the design approach and training activities were oriented toward preparing partners for future IoT-based development, such as remote monitoring and sensor integration. Evaluation results indicate improvements in partners’ understanding and skills in managing fish farming activities, feeding time efficiency, and feed waste reduction. This program serves as an important foundation for the sustainable development of IoT-based automatic fish feeding systems in Marindal II Village.
2026-04-20T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Sayuti Rahman, Asmah Indrawati, Andre Hasudungan Lubishttp://www.djournals.com/jpm/article/view/2885Optimalisasi Pemanfaatan Teknologi Augmented Reality Dalam Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Untuk Meningkatkan Kualitas Pembelajaran Sekolah2025-12-09T02:35:24+00:00Rifaldi Heriksonrifaldiherikson@umrah.ac.idBerta Erwin Slambertaerwinslam@umrah.ac.idFeri Irawanferiirawan@umrah.ac.idNolan Efrandanolanefranda@umrah.ac.id
The rapid development of information technology has driven a transformation in the field of education toward digital and interactive learning. These conditions may increase anxiety and emotional vulnerability, particularly within church-based community settings. In response to this situation, a community service program was implemented through the Basic Ecclesial Community (KUB) Care for Pregnant Women Movement as a form of community-based psycho-spiritual accompaniment. This community service activity aims to provide holistic accompaniment for pregnant women through the active involvement of Basic Ecclesial Communities and parish pastoral services. The accompaniment was carried out through pastoral visits, communal prayers, blessings, solidarity-based support, and the facilitation of routine health check-ups in collaboration with local medical personnel. The implementation methods included direct community accompaniment, participatory observation, and interviews with pregnant women, KUB coordinators, and parish priests as part of activity reflection and evaluation. The results indicate that the KUB Care for Pregnant Women Movement successfully created a safe and inclusive space for pregnant women, reduced anxiety levels, and enhanced psycho-spiritual well-being as well as a sense of meaning and belonging within the community. However, the implementation has not been evenly distributed across all KUB units, highlighting the need for strengthened organizational structures, sustained pastoral accompaniment, and increased capacity-building for KUB members. This community service activity affirms that community-based psycho-spiritual accompaniment represents a contextual, participatory, and relevant pastoral service model for supporting vulnerable groups, particularly pregnant women, and should be integrated into diocesan pastoral policies to ensure program sustainability and broader impact.
2026-04-20T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Damianus Dionisius Nuwa, Maria Yulita C. The project was motivated by persistent challenges, including a underdeveloped culture of collaboration among teachers and limited access to effective, contextual, and sustainable professional development, which ultimately impacts classroom learning outcomes. The partners involved were teachers from four public elementary schools representing the northern and southern regions of Tangerang City. The implementation method followed a participatory and cyclical approach, commencing with a needs assessment conducted through surveys and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs). This was followed by training for internal facilitators to ensure program sustainability. The core activity involved intensive mentoring during the formation and operationalization of the PLCs, supported by workshops on integrating digital technology into teaching. The entire process was monitored through formative evaluations and concluded with a summative assessment. The results demonstrated the successful establishment of active and self-sustaining PLCs in all partner schools, evidenced by regular meeting schedules and clear work agendas. Key achievements include a significant improvement in teachers' collaborative, communicative, and reflective skills, alongside the development of eight innovative teaching modules based on local contextual problems. The anticipated long-term impact is the creation of a collective learning culture, a sustained increase in teaching motivation, and a transformation towards more adaptive, student-centered learning practices. It is concluded that the collaborative approach through PLCs is an effective and sustainable strategy for empowering teachers as the primary agents of educational quality improvement.
2026-04-27T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Cecep Maman Hermawan, Okta Rosfiani, Syamsudin Abdullah, Moira Nufasahttp://www.djournals.com/jpm/article/view/2954Pelatihan Empati Dan Toleransi Siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri Melalui Edukasi Anti-Bullying Dan Penggunaan Smartphone 2026-01-07T07:38:24+00:00Muhammad Izzul Hakimzulhakim765@gmail.comWidi Hastomowidie.has@gmail.comRizky Darmawanrizkydarmawan958@gmail.comReyhan Hardiansyahreyhanhardiansyah26@gmail.comFatimah Khoirun Nisaftmhkhrnnisa@gmail.comMuhammad Husni Satria Adnanhusniadnansatria@gmail.comShabryna Arum Azzahrashabrynaazzahra@gmail.comRosiyana Rahayurosiyanarahayu1025@gmail.comMuh. This condition requires an increase in digital literacy skills from school age so that students are able to understand the development of technology that continues to develop. But in practice, computer learning at the junior high school level is still largely focused on the use of basic applications such as word processing, presentation, and office software. As a result, students' understanding of modern technology concepts, especially artificial intelligence, is still relatively low. Similar problems were also found in students at SMP PGRI Serpong who became partners in this community service activity. This service activity aims to introduce the basic concept of artificial intelligence and improve student understanding through training activities that are integrated with computer practicum. The implementation of activities is carried out through several stages, namely needs analysis, design of training materials and evaluation instruments, implementation of training, direct practice with mentoring, and evaluation of activity results. The training activities were carried out directly in the computer laboratory involving 30 students as participants. The material provided includes an introduction to the concept of artificial intelligence, examples of its implementation in daily life, as well as simple practices using visual learning platforms such as Scratch and Teachable Machine. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' understanding of the concept of artificial intelligence as shown through the comparison of pre-test and post-test scores. In addition, during the activity, there was also an increase in student participation and interest in technology learning. This activity had a positive impact on increasing environmental awareness, reducing household organic waste, and opening up opportunities for the development of community-based environmentally friendly products oriented towards the principles of sustainability.
2026-04-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Nelva Ginting, Dompak Pasaribu, Reflianta Br Sinaga, Riska Elsa Sinaga, Jonathan Pasaribu, Selly Tampubolonhttp://www.djournals.com/jpm/article/view/3040Optimalisasi Limbah Minyak Jelantah Menjadi Lilin Aromaterapi Sebagai Upaya Peningkatan Kemandirian Ekonomi Masyarakat2026-02-21T11:05:34+00:00Selly Puspita Sarisellypuspita@aisyahuniversity.ac.idRizqi Abdul Azizrizqiabdulaziz1928@gmail.comLenita Alfiahlenitaalfiah@gmail.comElvin Yulika Saputraelvinyulika2@gmail.comPutri Mei Ningsihptrimynsh10@gmail.comViola Putri Anansyahviolaputrianasyah11109@gmail.comYenni Fransiskasiskaaja1009@gmail.comFirma Dwi SuryantiFirmadwysuryantyfirma@gmail.comSyifaa SuryaniSyifaa140403@gmail.com
Used cooking oil is a household waste that has the potential to cause environmental pollution if not properly managed; however, it also offers opportunities to be developed into value-added economic products. This community service activity aimed to enhance community economic self-reliance through the utilization of used cooking oil as a raw material for aromatherapy candles branded “Serumpun Jelita.” The activity was conducted on January 25, 2026, in Bulurejo Village, Hamlet 3, targeting groups of housewives who did not yet have productive economic enterprises. The implementation methods included socialization on used cooking oil waste management, training on aromatherapy candle production, assistance in product packaging and pricing determination, as well as evaluation of activity outcomes. The results indicated an improvement in participants’ knowledge and skills, as reflected by an increase in the average understanding score from 45% before the training to 85% after the training. A total of 90% of participants were able to independently produce aromatherapy candles. From an economic perspective, the aromatherapy candle products had a production cost of approximately IDR 5,000 per unit and a selling price ranging from IDR 12,000 to IDR 15,000 per unit, yielding a potential profit margin of up to 60%. These findings demonstrate that the utilization of used cooking oil into aromatherapy candles not only contributes to waste reduction but also effectively enhances sustainable community economic self-reliance.
2026-04-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Selly Puspita Sari, Rizqi Abdul Aziz, Lenita Alfiah, Elvin Yulika Saputra, Putri Mei Ningsih, Viola Putri Anansyah, Yenni Fransiska, Firma Dwi Suryanti, Syifaa Suryanihttp://www.djournals.com/jpm/article/view/3057Optimalisasi dalam Membangun Budaya Servant Leadership Untuk Meningkatkan Kolaborasi Antara Guru, Siswa, dan Orang Tua Dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Pendidikan2026-02-21T11:16:40+00:00Karsikah Karsikahdosen02942@unpam.ac.idDidit Haryadidosen03421@unpam.ac.id
This service aims to build a servant leadership culture to increase collaboration between teachers, students, and parents at SMK Negeri 7 Serang City. The main problems that are the focus are the low level of collaboration among school stakeholders and the perception that educational services are centered on the demands of the curriculum without dynamically involving all parties. Disharmony in communication patterns, lack of parental participation, and suboptimal efforts to develop students' potential are the root of the problems that hinder the quality of the learning process and the bond of the school community as a whole. Within this service framework, we formulate the following objectives: (1) to increase the understanding and application of the principles of servant leadership among principals and teachers through a series of structured trainings, workshops, and seminars; (2) strengthen collaboration and communication between teachers, students, and parents through discussion forums, collaborative activities, and shared responsibility initiatives involving all parties; (3) improving the quality of education through a more participatory and service-oriented approach, so that the education ecosystem becomes more inclusive and responsive to the needs of students and their families. The solution to this problem is to provide socialization and increase understanding of servant leadership among principals and teachers, as well as better collaboration between teachers, students, and parents, the quality of education in schools. This emphasizes the importance of servant leadership in building a more collaborative and participatory educational environment. In order to achieve the goal of community service that focuses on service and leadership in the education sector, the emphasis on servant leadership is important. This includes three main aspects: increasing the understanding and application of servant leadership among principals and teachers, increasing collaboration and communication between teachers, students, and parents, and improving the quality of education with a more collaborative and participatory approach.
2026-04-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Karsikah Karsikah, Didit Haryadihttp://www.djournals.com/jpm/article/view/3132Optimalisasi Pemanfaatan Media Digital dalam Pemasaran Produk Rumahan Melalui Kegiatan Sosialisasi dan Pelatihan2026-03-19T14:43:45+00:00Muhamad Zulfakarmuhamad.zulfakar@umrah.ac.idAditya Firmansyahadityafirmansyah1325@gmail.comTiara Devina Putritiaradevina23@gmail.comWa Ode Melatiwaodemelati334@gmail.comWia Sagitawiasagitaa@gmail.comZahwa Zahwazahwa100596@gmail.comPutri Okvi Tasariputriokvitasari12@gmail.comSadila Yuliandri Aripinsadilayuliandri@gmail.comFerry Verunaferunamalaik@gmail.comAgung Satriyasatriyaagung739@gmail.comArmanja Armanjaarmanjaarmanja02@gmail.com
The development of information and communication technology in the digital era has significantly impacted various aspects of society, including marketing activities carried out by micro and small business actors. Digital marketing has become one of the most effective strategies to expand market reach and enhance business competitiveness in the digital era. Through the utilization of digital media, business actors are able to introduce their products to a wider audience and interact directly with consumers in a more effective and efficient manner. However, many home-based business actors, especially in rural areas, still face limitations in utilizing digital media as an optimal marketing tool. Limited knowledge regarding the use of digital platforms, online marketing strategies, and the utilization of social media often becomes a major obstacle in business development and market expansion. Therefore, a community service program was conducted in Toapaya Village, Bintan Regency, with the aim of improving the knowledge and skills of home-based business actors in utilizing digital media as a marketing tool. The implementation method consisted of several stages, including preparation, socialization, training, and evaluation. The results of the activity showed that participants experienced an increase in their understanding of digital marketing strategies and were able to apply them in promoting their products online as well as creating more attractive promotional content to support sustainable business development, with the level of participants’ understanding increasing by approximately 40% based on the evaluation results.
2026-04-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Muhamad Zulfakar, Aditya Firmansyah, Tiara Devina Putri, Wa Ode Melati, Wia Sagita, Zahwa Zahwa, Putri Okvi Tasari, Sadila Yuliandri Aripin, Ferry Veruna, Agung Satriya, Armanja Armanjahttp://www.djournals.com/jpm/article/view/3000Pemanfaatan Chatbot Berbasis Kecerdasan Buatan sebagai Media Edukasi Pembelajaran2026-01-24T01:46:56+00:00Jamilatul Badriyahmila@unira.ac.idAnang Faktchur Rachmananang@unira.ac.idLaili Romadonalailiromadona985@gmail.comAch. The community service initiative was carried out in three key phases: assessing needs, designing and developing the educational chatbot, and providing training and outreach to both teachers and students. The needs assessment was carried out through interviews and observations to understand the learning styles, key subjects, and the preparedness of the school's digital setup. The findings from this assessment formed the foundation for creating a prototype of the educational chatbot aimed at assisting students in understanding their study materials interactively and making them available beyond school hours. An evaluation of the implementation was executed using a Likert-type questionnaire to assess students' views on the educational chatbot's effectiveness. The feedback indicated that users had a favorable view of the chatbot. The overall average score reached 3. 96, with specific scores showing ease of use at 3. 89, clarity of responses at 3. 89, response time at 4. 00, its learning advantages at 3. 94, and overall satisfaction at 4. 08. These results suggest that the educational chatbot is perceived as user-friendly, aligned with educational requirements, and genuinely beneficial in facilitating the learning journey. The outcomes of this community service project demonstrate that the deployment of educational chatbots is a valuable tool in enhancing the learning medium and may also boost student motivation and their overall educational experience. Besides creating a prototype for the educational chatbot, this initiative also produced system documentation, a user manual, and a draft for a scientific paper to support the ongoing application of educational technology in schools.
2026-04-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Jamilatul Badriyah, Anang Faktchur Rachman, Laili Romadona, Ach. This technology enables users to automatically generate various forms of information and content, which can support learning processes. However, the ease of access to such technology also introduces new challenges related to digital literacy and ethical awareness in the use of technology within academic environments. Therefore, educational initiatives are needed to equip students with appropriate knowledge and responsible attitudes in utilizing generative artificial intelligence. This community service activity aims to improve digital literacy and promote ethical awareness regarding the use of generative artificial intelligence among students. The partner of this activity is SMAN 2 Denpasar, a senior high school located in Denpasar City, where students have relatively high access to digital technologies. The implementation method used an educational and participatory approach consisting of preparation, training sessions, practical exercises on the responsible use of generative artificial intelligence, and evaluation activities. The evaluation was conducted through pre-test and post-test assessments, observation of participant engagement, and feedback questionnaires to measure students’ understanding before and after the activity. The results indicate an increase in students’ understanding of generative artificial intelligence concepts, improvement in digital literacy skills, and greater awareness of ethical technology use in academic contexts.
